1. General Policy

As a provider of personal, time-based counselling, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness services, refunds are generally not provided once a session has been completed or the service has been rendered.

This policy is in accordance with Belgian consumer protection law, which recognizes exceptions to the right of withdrawal for services that have already been fully performed with the consumer’s prior express consent (Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law).

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge by providing at least 24 hours’ notice via email or any official communication channel. This allows us to offer your slot to another client in need.

More than 24 hours’ notice: Full refund or rescheduling without penalty
Less than 24 hours’ notice: Full session fee will be charged; no refund will be issued
No-show without notice: Full session fee will be charged; no refund will be issued

3. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered under exceptional situations such as:

Serious medical emergencies (with proof)
Service disruption caused by Tanya Bee (e.g., illness, technical issue on the provider’s side)

In such cases, you may choose between:

A full refund
A free rescheduling of the session

Requests for exceptions must be made in writing within 7 days of the missed or disrupted session.

4. Digital Products or Packages (if applicable)

Digital products are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.
Packages may be partially refundable only for unused sessions, provided no terms were breached and cancellation is made with appropriate notice.

Include your full name, session date, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Residents)

Under EU law, consumers have the right to withdraw from a service agreement within 14 days of booking, provided the service has not yet been delivered or started with your consent. By scheduling and confirming a session within that 14-day period, you agree to waive this right under Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.

7. Modifications to This Policy

Tanya Bee reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website.
